DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN BARATTI

Baratti


Welcome to Baratti, a great open hotel with its amazing sport center and bike-friendly facilities. Once checked-in, you'll have your own time and space to build your bike and start feeling at home for the week. Explore the surroundings, take a walk in the town center and get ready for dinner and biefing with your guide: a chance to clarify possible questions, connect and get ready for the following days. Trails are waiting, the preparation and the evening will be the first of many memories collected in the following days

DAY 2 - POPULONIA, TRAILS, SAND

Populonia


45km / 1200m + / 1200m -


Time to move to the coast. Today is for warming up and exploring the Tuscany coast. The Piombino area nestles some amazing combinations of natural and shaped single-track. We'll jump on a series of short tecky climbs, fast descents for a morning on trails. After a quick stop, lunch battery charge in Populonia (medieval town that dates back more than 1500 years) we'll start shifting our attention and direction towards the beach trails. Sandy and rocky terrain will be a constant of the day and an aperitivo on the beach to close the first ride will be a must-do!

Finish with a short ride back to the hotel for dinner.

DAY 3 - MASSA MARITTIMA

Massa Marittima


45km / 1200m + / 1200m -


Here we go for an even more trail-oriented day. You guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive towards Massa Marittima. On  Monte Arsenti we'll find long, flowy, natural trails . One great gravel road + single track connection will allow us to access them. After a full morning, lunch awaits: some of the best pappardelle al cinghiale you've ever had for sure, and that is just the beginning. Today's local restaurant is definitely one of a kind!

We'll jump back on the bikes and move to a nerby area: an web of great up-and-down single tracks. Back to the bar for a quick aperitivo and then, one last short lift back to the accommodation.

DAY 4 - ETRURIA AND POGGIO ROSSO

Piombino

We are in for a bit of a shorter riding day. In order to take it easier and enjoy Tuscany even more, our morning ride on new trails will end at Poggio Rosso: this small winery has refined its craft through the years towards a smaller number in production but stunning quality. Our lunch will be a local tasting food and wine menu, where the owners will join us and talk us through their products, craft and passion.

This afternoon will take us across Poggio Rosso winery, vineyards and production facility.

End the day with a quick lift back to the hotel.

DAY 5 - ELBA ISLAND

Isola d'Elba


45km / 1500m + / 1500m -


This is a one-day trip to Isola d'Elba and back: a great way to tast the best there is and leaving us both satisfied...and kinda wanting for more!

After a first shuttle lift, all aboard the ferry to Rio Marina where we'll start pedalling. After a first warm-up section, we'll start seeing Volterraio and hit the first trail to Buca del Bandito. While connecting some of the best spots and single tracks of the island until Rio Elba, our lunch location. One small, one big climb, two long descents later, we'll be back at the ferry stop ready to make our way back to terra ferma!

Lift back to the hotel to close the day.

DAY 6 - VAL DI CORNIA BIG RIDE

Campiglia Marittima


57km / 2200m + / 2200m -


This out-and-back day is one of the many reasons we choose E-MTBs for this trip. After a short shuttle lift to start (and maybe a coffee too) we'll start with the first of the twelve trails of the day. The firsts of which will touch three different locations: Campiglia Marittima, Sassetta and Castagneto Carducci. Given the exciting afternoon ahead, we'll take  the chance to charge our batteries at lunch. The restaurant is placed in a location butcher shop where what we'll eat is loacally-sourced and hand-made from the animals well taken care of. After roughly one hour at the table, a gentle, long gravel road will take us on top of Monte Calvi where we'll hit the last two, long single trails of the day. More than 2200m gain later, we'll be back at La Cerreta Terme where a drink awaits, Spa is open luggage is aòready in the rooms.
